The Tolpuddle Martyrs' Festival relies on a fantastic team of volunteers. They do lots of different jobs from helping with the stages, checking on the toilets and showers, stewarding the 

car park and the march and lots more. If you want to be part of the team that runs the 2017 Festival please let us know. For those who are prepared to muck-in and do a shift each day we offer free admission, camping or campervan tag, crew t-shirt and some food vouchers.

All applicants will be informed whether they have been successful or whether they are on the waiting list by mid-end of May.  Do not worry about booking your passes until you have heard from us.

We expect stewards to be on site by 12 noon on Friday 14th July and not leave until 6pm on Sunday 16th July 2017.  If you need to arrive later or depart earlier then please specify on your application.

Car Parking/campsite/Festival gates

Shifts between the hours: Thursday 0900-2200, Friday 0800-2200, Saturday 0800-2200, Sunday 0730-1830

Will include traffic management, meeting arrivals, camping assistance, etc

Waste & recycling/Toilet/showers

Shifts between the hours: Thursday 1700-2000, Friday 0800-2300, Saturday 0730-2300, Sunday 0730-2000

Removing waste, recycling, changing toilet rolls (NOT CLEANING)

Main Marquee (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Shifts between the hours: Friday 0800-0030, Saturday 0800-0030, Sunday 0800-2000

(this will include signing/liaise with stall holders, moving furniture, setting up marquee for shows, clear up during and at end of day).

Marquee Safety Team (Friday and Saturday)

Shifts between the hours of: Friday 1830-0030, Saturday 1830-0030

General help (Sunday only 0800-1900)

Support procession, moving tables, equipment, general help
