This publications list has been prepared by the TUC primarily for the use of students and teachers involved in secondary and further education, but will also be of use to those with a general interest in the subject.

The list is multimedia and includes books, audio-visual material and a teaching pack. It is divided into three categories. Each category concludes with a section of more complex works for the purposes of further reading. Works marked with an asterisk (*) are currently out of print, but should be available through a library. Prices have been included where known.

The Tolpuddle Martyrs Interactive CD-ROM
Narrated by Tony Robinson the CD features over 4 hours of questions and answers about People, Events and Background in the Martyrs story. The CD is featured on interactive displays in the museum.

Tolpuddle Martyrs Educational Book
The book tells the Tolpuddle Martyrs story through the main characters. It features original and new illustrations portraying the harrowing story.The book is in full colour, size A4, 56 pages and is available now.

The Martyrs of Tolpuddle
This is a reprint of the 1934 book, published to commemorate the centenary of the Martyrs trial, punishment and forming of the trades union movement. The hard bound book is printed from the original in black and white and has 248 pages with illustrations.
