list has been prepared by the TUC primarily for the use of students
and teachers involved in secondary and further education, but will also
be of use to those with a general interest in the subject.

a section of more complex works for the purposes of further reading.

The Martyrs
of Tolpuddle
This is a reprint of the 1934 book, published to commemorate the centenary
of the Martyrs trial, punishment and forming of the trades union movement.
The hard bound book is printed from the original in black and white and
