Easton Cowboys FC vs Salisbury Rovers FC

The festival will host its first ever football match on Sunday 19th July, between Easton Cowboys FC and Salisbury Rovers FC. Two amateur, grassroots football clubs who successfully combine football, social inclusion, and opportunity for all to amazing effect. On the weekend of the World Cup final (an event as significant for corporate greed, social exclusion and political sportswashing as it is for top level football) we feel it is vital to celebrate the enormous role of the beautiful game in bringing people and communities together – especially at the grassroots level. After playing their friendly match at a local pitch, the two teams will be joining us at the festival. Look out for them in the banner parade on Sunday afternoon and give them a cheer!

The World Cup Final

Yes – we know it’s on Festival Sunday! The Martyrs Inn are hosting a watch party in the village; all welcome to attend. Please remember that the camping field closes at 10:00 AM on Monday so you must have packed up by then.
