A William Morris tea towel with a difference, made in UK by the Radical Tea Towel Co.

William Morris (1834 – 1896) was an English textile designer, poet, novelist & translator who played a significant role in propagating the early socialist movement in Britain. This tea towel recreates one of Morris’s classic designs, The Strawberry Thief, with a quotation to illustrate his radical ideas “When class-robbery is abolished, every man will reap the fruits of his labour.”

Half Panama unbleached organic cotton (heavy weight, textured finish). Stitched on all four sides. Includes hanging loop. Measures approximately 48cm x 70cm.
