Arthur Henderson, Labour Leader, unveiled the TUC Memorial Arch outside the Methodist Chapel.

The NUAW joined with the Working Women’s Club Fete for a ‘remembrance’ including sports and dancing.

ASLEF members visited Tolpuddle.

1933

Ramsey McDonald laid a wreath.

1934

Lots of events marked centenary. Speakers included Arthur Henderson, Labour Leader, Walter Citrine, TUC General Secretary.
